And even though I'm full of sin, in the end you'll let me in

Hey guys. Look what Justin stumbled upon. One of my favorites, Dr Medz. This guys stuff is so cool. If I had half the talent I would be smiling all the time. Anyway check out his stuff at his myspace page.

His debut film Dr. Frankenmedz Daiting Service Inc. is also up at youtube.

Previously posted works here, here, here, here and here.

Habits are automatic behaviors that can be changed with patience and persistence

I figured while I was at it I would post a few more pieces of other people's art I have colorized. These are of course Nosmot's drawings. I have been sitting on the 'Hello' sketch for quite some time but the '2 Guy' is from the visit to Haven on Friday night. I wish I knew what he is thinking.

If you want to give JT a shout out and encourage him to draw more do so at Nosmot blog. Don't hate on me Nos-dawg.

Without exception, the new art is better

This is the artwork of a friend of mine. I have colored two of them because the photo's were not the best. I hope He doesn't mind. I have done it in the past so...Might be a bad habit of mine.

One of the many dudes.
A drumbstick or ham hock.

Lastly the self portrait he drew while in captivity a while back. I love it. Note the hand cuffs.

I can't wait to see more.

Purging old things gives me such a feeling of lightness

Well it is official. The Toyota is dead. Jonny and I replaced the air flow meter on Saturday and it didn't help a lick so...time to put the monster out of it's misery. I will soon be seen zooming around town in the dreaded old 'Scort. That's right folks, that car that I have been dragging around with me for the last three years, the one that has been parked in front of six houses (not all of them mine) and got me through the period of stolen Camry goodness.

Yup, the red one.

On Thursday on my way towards Belmont to catch the bus to work there were a few squirrels barking a storm at me.

First this little guy who followed me from the house along the phone wire to this tree where he stopped and chirped a mean streak at me.

Than this one a block later stood over the sidewalk on a branch where I thought for sure he would jump into my hair and bite an ear off. It wasn't until I looked at the pictures at home later that day that he was soooo cute.

Click pic for closeup.

There is also a yard with hundreds of mushrooms in it. Here is a close up of some of them.

Also during my walk to work I spotted some old friends along with a few new ones.

June on a sticker on a paper box. I think I may have thought this said Juke in the past.

Orlando is mischievous!

Othello writes over a cool stenciled rose sticker.

Meat Tube and Animal? stickers.

I don't know what this is but I thought it was cool.

...and of course a Nerd sticker. YAHOO!

On Friday a trip was made to Haven for a cup of Friday coffee.

JT doodled sad little guys .

While I tried to take a picture of a girl in the reflection of my eye.

There were a few cool things in the bathroom. This little guy sketched in the 'Was your hand' sign.

These drop shadowed hands on the soap dispenser.

And another old friend.

Tonight I decided to indulge in a guilty pleasure, fast food fries and fountain Coke.

Tagging is pretty intuitive and can take some practice to fully understand.

WORDZ

JUNE.
I just saw this tag painted over on three consecutive garage doors. Cool use of color and I like the letter style.

Recreation Reinvention 1AM:

Probably the boldest and cleanest lettering I have ever seen. Who knows what it says.

Know Your World!

GPS (?)
Not cool enough for the DUDES post and not really cool lettering but the combination seems to work nice.

MINK
Caught once before in tandem with REGAL

And finally, the evidence. Some ones been painting back here.

Ancient Roman graffiti also suggests that love was the object of scorn

DUDES

Our little rabbit friend? touching a...ah nevermind. Wait, is he throwing a switch?

Gitchy-Gitchy-Goo.

Fight The Power, BANG!

OMG!!! I just realized all of the pieces done by this person were done using white-washes as part of the art. ROCK ON!

Lost Cause.. I have seen the word bubble before, usually on new construction.

This little green fellah was real long and I thought I got him all but didn't. Wait for the panorama to see all of him.

Giddy-Up striped cowboy. I love the colors on this one.

Probably the coolest piece here. I wish I could cut away this part of the building and have this on a wall in my home. Who says that graffiti is a blight?

Over There! Sheesh!

Small detail of a Devil and Angel thing on a crudely drawn boy's shoulders.

Here is a shot of the last four all together. You can see the blue boy with the little Angel/Devil on his shoulders. A definite one-upsmanship going on here.

Roughly painted dude pointing in the same direction as the old men in previous picture.

Anid!'s little alien friend.

This person is definitely one of my favorites in town. I have posted his/her work before and it is always on a grand scale. See the sailor piece from earlier in this post to see what I mean.

Feast on the Beast? Very crude animal of some kind. This is all over now and I have seen die cut stickers of the beast in my neighborhood. Oh well.
